The Dress

Worn once and professionally dry cleaned by wedding specialist.
Dress was originally a small bridal UK size 20, which I had professionally altered to a high street size 14.
Alterations were expertly carried out and I was exceptionally happy with the outcome.

Fit-and-flare style lace dress with full lining and bust support, including tulle underskirt and layered train. Train size slightly reduced; length can be seen in photos. Beautiful off-the-shoulder design, which I was complemented on throughout the day. Sheer back with lace detail, along with full button finish (hidden zip underneath). Well-structured bust-support; bra was not required, plus bodice boning for hour-glass figure. Exceptionally soft lace and lining materials; this was one of my biggest requirements for the day, and the dress did not disappoint. In addition to this, the material was on the slightly thicker side, hiding any unwanted lumps-and-bumps (something that I know I was conscious of when choosing my wedding dress!).

Condition is excellent, bar a couple of very minor wear-and-tear issues that I have photographed and uploaded here. Having spoken to bridal alterations, these are easily fixed with a needle and thread.

As a curvy girl, I felt that this dress was absolutely perfect and I couldn't have dreamt of wearing anything more amazing on my wedding day. I'm just really hoping that another bride can feel just as beautiful on their special day too.

Alterations

Taken in a few sizes, with room for further alterations, as required. Off the shoulder sleeves slightly reduced, along with being taken in at the sides, so as not to hinder the sheer back and lace design. Length not altered at all (I am 5'9" and wore approximately 1" heels), however train slightly reduced but still fulfilled that bridal train feel.
