The Dress

A gown made for royalty, the Fabiana is a hand embroidered masterpiece. This voluminous 3D ballgown features a sheer corset top and scoop neckline, with a full skirt made of embroidered tulle and further adorned with 3D floral embellishments.

The dress comes with a custom made cathedral length veil with a blush.

Every piece is custom and made in Tel Aviv. This dress was a size 10 but my normal size is UK 8, and often size 6 on top. I have been informed by my seamstress that this dress can be made a size bigger, Galia Lahav 12 (normally UK size 10) and down a size to an 8.

It really is beautiful, there is a huge amount of detail with the embellishments and a slight sparkle in certain light.

Alterations

The dress was a Size 38 and then fitted to my measurements:

Bust: 80.5
Waist: 62
High Hip: 82
Low hip: 97
Waist to floor: 117
Hollow to hem: 150
Bust size: 32B

It is lined and also has inserted cups for shape. Some of the length was cut off, there is some excess that can be let out though. I also had a soft lining to make it very comfortable on the skin, it is corseted inside.

We got extra embellishments from the designer to add to the front when I had the cups put in so it all flowed seamlessly and didn’t look like I had changed it. I also had a hook and button on the back to tie the back up as well as a loop to hold it up temporarily.

I am 166cm and wore 105mm heels. It is a touch above the ground at that because I wanted it to not catch on the carpet.
