The Dress

Here is a slightly altered David's Bridal, Victorian style wedding dress. Perfect for your old fashioned, formal or steampunk wedding! It is in great condition but has been worn once and was professionally cleaned after. This dress looks amazing in person- very flattering! It has elaborate beading, ornamentation and unique bustle style with floral appliques. Closes by zipper in back but could be converted to a corset style. The dress has tulle underskirts and is fully lined. Although it is true to size (18), wedding dresses run slightly small so it works best with a corset.There are a couple of small stains on the tulle underside of the train (not visible when wearing it), which is to be expected with a dress that has been worn.

Alterations

Narrow, matching satin straps were added, since it was originally strapless. It has been taken up slightly (was made for someone 5'6" but I am 5'2"). It can easily be let back down though as the altered seam is merely stitched up and no material has been removed. Ribbons have been added underneath to bustle the train (life saver!).
