The Dress

I wore this beautiful, elegant, A-line dress for my wedding in September 2019. It is a high neck, sheer back lace top, with a long satin-organza skirt, a beautiful scalloped trim and a small sweeping train. It was lightweight and comfortable, I was able to dance the night away with no issues. I had actually gone back to the store to buy another dress I tried on and really liked, but my bridesmaids insisted I try on 'one more dress' and I am so happy they did. It was perfect! I have a bigger bust so I was worried about hiking my dress up all night if I got a low cut or strapless dress- but this high neck dress was the perfect solution and the cut made my shoulders look trim. It fit me very well so I did not have to add in cups (although my seamstress said it is possible to do).

I normally wear a size 10-12, but bought this dress in a 14 and altered the sides to fit my bust better. I am 5'4 and wore 3 inch heels and altered the dress to fit that length. The dress was dry cleaned immediately after and is in excellent condition. Some of the buttons/string on the bustle need to be fixed (and maybe one more good steam!) but otherwise the dress is ready to be worn again. Alterations

Took the length of the dress up (kept the scalloped edging), took in the sides 0.5-1inch and the shoulders up about the same.
