This dress is one of a kind - the fabric is silk tulle which has been hand felted with wool to create a unique texture inspired by lichen. Here it is paired with hand pleated silk organza waist piece and an optional asymmetrical blush silk georgette slip.
It is beautifully light, supple and soft - an absolute dream to wear, and perfect for a bride who wants to move comfortably and dance the night away!
This was the first wedding dress commissioned from aboutphaedre, an amazing upcoming artist in regional Victoria, based on a combination of the 'Lichen' and 'Shell' dresses in her range.
The fabric is stretchy and is designed to drape - which means the sizing is fairly adaptable.
It is a delicate fabric which has been hand washed with love. There are minor dirt marks right at the bottom which are not obvious and which are likely to come out if formally dry cleaned.
