The Dress

Growing up as a dancer, I wanted my wedding dress to make me feel and look beautiful as I did in tutus on stage - this dress outdid all those tutus alright. Everything I wanted to see myself in the wedding dress was there - the tulle skirt, the short sleeves, the train and the beautiful bodice! [I wanted something 'different' from the "expected" wedding dress - it sure did blow everyone away ;)]

- The nude illusion-embroidered details to the bodice is truly eye-catching while the deep V-cut really pops the look.
- With the short-sleeves, I didn't have to worry about my dress slipping down or needing to fix any straps. (Also it hid my arm fat, lol)
- Thin nude-sheer is lined in the front of V-line that comes up to your collarbone. (It’s practically invisible in photos and in person)
- The Tull skirt made the dress light and easy to move in (definite plus for dancing the night away and comfortable when sitting down)

Alterations

Label size 8 - It was altered to fit more like a size 4-6. I’m a little chubby around my upper body (especially my arms) compared to my waist. I wear a bra size 34B, shirt size small/medium, dress size 4-6 and pants size 27 waist.

Train - The dress originally has a semi-long train for the ceremony, but a few micro hooks-eyes were added between the layers of the tulle in the back to hook the extra fabrics in for the Reception. (refer to one of my photos to see how it looks once the hooks are in-place)

Added pads - I'm a 34B bra size, so they sewed extra padding to make sure my boobs didn't look flat.

Waist - I had lost weight from my initial fitting, but they way this dress is designed makes an easy fix by just taking in around the waist and ribcage.
