The Dress

Blush by Hayley paige saylor gown that I wore for my wedding September 20, 2019.

I wore flat shoes for my wedding so the height is 5'7". If you are planning on wearing heels just be aware that if you're wanting to wear 3 inch heels you will need to be 5'4" or shorter. 5’7” max height with flat shoes.

The dress was dry cleaned (a little worn on the bottom of the dress) and they found a hole on the back just on the top layer (pictured). They said it would be an easy fix with invisible thread. When the dress is bustled you cannot see the rip which is why i did not notice it because i never unbustled after the wedding.

***Upon further investigation it looks like the top layer is sewn to the bottom layer and the "hole" just detached from that bottom layer. I noticed another part that is loose as well so all that would need to be done is to sewn the top layer back to the bottom layer

I just wanted to be very transparent with any issues with the dress so there were no surprises upon purchase! It is still a gorgeous dress!

Alterations

I have a small chest so the cups are rather large but that would be easy to remove and it was taken in up top a bit.

The dress was shortened to 5'7" for my height and I weigh 135lbs if that helps at all.

The dress was also taken in at the hips and the mesh on the chest was sewn to the lace as to not move out of position. A couple of those thread have come out though so you may need to have your tailor do that again!
