The Dress

This dress was purchased new from BHLDN and was worn for 90 minutes (indoors only) for the rehearsal the night before my wedding. The tags are not attached (but you can see they were when I got the dress) but the dress is in perfect, new condition. It's a WTOO Watters dress, called Lenora or Monica.

The dress has been stored in the original dress bag, in a smoke-free, pet-free home. This dress is true to size and has not been altered in any way.

The colour is listed as ivory/oyster, but I think it's on the whiter end of that spectrum (without being a super bright, true white).

The lace and beadwork are beautiful – modern and a bit boho, classy but not old fashioned.

It is very comfortable, (not itchy and I'm SUPER sensitive to that) and the perfect weight without being too heavy. I was worried about the dress being too clingy, but it is lightly layered/line and creates a really clean shape. The skirt lays beautifully and has a definite short train to it. At 5'5'', I wore this dress with 4-inch heels and it was the perfect length.

The bust lining is thick enough that you could go without a bra or choose to have one sewn into it. Stick-on bras that attach with adhesive on the side of your rib cage won't work due to the large keyhole/back opening of the dress.

My fiance (now husband) LOVED the open back of this dress. The higher neckline balanced out the open back and felt perfectly family-friendly/classy while still showing a little bit of skin.

I LOVE this dress and would keep it if I had literally any other event I could wear it to; sadly I don't. Again, I did NOT wear this dress to get married in (I had a ballgown style dress to wear on the day) and only had it on for about 90 minutes the night before (and am *still* a bit sad about letting it go). So if you got married in it, you'd be the first to do so! It'd also make for a gorgeous rehearsal dinner dress/second party dress to change into.
