The Dress

Hello Bride to Be,

I'm selling my beloved gorgeous wedding gown, purchased this year for our wedding in late August 2019.

It's only been worn once and has been fully drycleaned and looks beautiful! No stains, tears etc.

The gown was purchased from Perfect Day Bridal in Willoughby, Sydney, but was custom made by Catherine R Couture in Melbourne.

The gown was lovely and a talking point for guests as it was pretty different and a modern look!

It was also really easy to walk in - I wore high heels and it didn't catch once. Very important as we danced the night away and the movement in the gown was so lightweight and flexible.

It teamed perfectly with an Ostrich Snow feather jacket I purchased from Mode & Affaire but looked just as gorgeous sans the jacket - I had it on for the ceremony as it was a chilly wintery wedding but come evening and once we were indoors, the gown was fine without extra warmth.

I'm also selling the feather jacket (size XL or 12 dress size) and veil with a lace trim, purchased also from Perfect Day Bridal in Willoughby.

Alterations

Alterations were done by Helen Giam in Sydney - I had the V neck dropped 2 inches on the waist for a deeper V neck cut and requested nude sheer lace underneath to give the dress an extra difference from the off the rack design.

I had the lace brought up (hemmed) to allow me to walk in heels - I'm approx 170cm tall.

I also had the breast cups brought in - it was made a D cup but I shrunk to C cup by the time of the wedding.

I also had the shoulders adjusted/brought in and the waist slightly due to weight loss. I also had a bustle put on to hook my gown up for the reception with a plain white silk button.

Highly recommend this gown - would love it to make another bride's day as special as mine was! I felt and looked a million dollars thanks to this beautiful gown and know someone else could make it shine, too!
