The Dress
This dress exceeded my expectations when it came to comfortablitly, breathability, and beauty; I did not want to take it off, even after 11 hours. The dress hugs and highlights all the right places, but was not restricting in any way. The lace detail all over the dress and down the train are stunning. There are hidden buttons up the train for a secure bustling option. It was dry cleaned, double bagged and hung immediately following the wedding day and is in pristine condition with the tulle and lace remaining "like new".
Alterations
The bridal store originally said the dress was made in Ivory, my ideal choice, and it was not. So they had it done by their head of alterations, who did a tremendous job. The dress was altered from a 14 to a 12, and a small amount of additional matching lace was added to the bust area to make it not such a deep cut. There was invisible fabric added to the straps and under arm area to eliminate any itchiness. 1,
