The Dress

Stunning Vera Wang Emmeline Dress.

This dress was purchased from the Vera Wang Store in Sydney in May 2013 and worn once for 4 hours in September 2013. The dress is in perfect condition and has since been dry-cleaned by a professional bridal store.

The Emmeline design is timeless. The V-neck ballgown design with illusion corset top is simply breathtaking. This dress was custom made, and I selected the ivory colour with gold metallic hand painting.

Colour: Ivory with hand-painted gold floral motifs and ivory sash.

Sash: Ivory 3 inch sash (unique ivory sash different to original design. This colour was selected prior to custom-made dress design by vera wang in new york).

Material: Organza Tulle

Size: Vera Wang Size 6 (fits Australian 8-10).

This dress is completely unaltered. It is Vera Wang size 6 and was not altered at all. It would be ideal for you to try on this dress in the Vera Wang store prior to purchasing as it has not been altered in length or fit.

I chose to have a bustle hand-sewn as an option to tie up the train for after the reception. This is done in the same ivory organza used for the dress and consists of 6 bows that completely blend with the dress. This was done by the Vera Wang dress alteration service in Sydney.

This dress is absolutely breathtaking, I loved wearing it and the workmanship involved in making this Vera Wang creation is outstanding.
