The Dress

The wedding dress from Brett & Tenae Fowler's wedding on Hamilton Island, televised live on channel 7's morning show Sunrise on 6 September 2013.

This dress was inspired by French romance and is the epitome of timeless, vintage, classic elegance, designed to create a beautiful silhouette for those seeking to embody grace and glamour with a hand-crafted gown. This gown is a once off gown, I had asked for more jewels around the bust and the back and bow is slightly different to the original dress.This gown is a cream silk gown with exquisite hand sewn embellishments, glittering shoulder detailing and intricate lace. It has a deep neckline and low back. Slimline skirt, a sweeping train with scalloped lace edging.

I have had so many great comments about this dress, I think everyone across Australia fell in love with this dress just as I did. This was the only wedding dress that I tried on, fell in love and got the dress made with some minor changes to create a very unique dress. I am a size 10-12 on top and a size 12-14 on the bottom and a size D cup (but the cup is only hand sewn and can be easily taken out of the dress), this dress will fit a size 10-12 perfectly. The dress has an elastic waist band and is done up with a wrap around bow which is hidden by the jewels, so you don't need to watch your weight for your special day as you can do the dress up however loose of tight you want it on the day.

This dress was so comfortable to wear but is a bit on the heavy side because of all the detailed jewelled lace.

It is in good condition as I only had the dress on for five hours and has been professionally dry cleaned.

With the dress I will also include the cuff that matches the dress, a big head piece that matches the dress (that I didn't end up wearing on the day, so it has never been worn) and three bridesmaid clip in hair pieces all with that vintage, classic and glamour feel all together worth over $500.

As much as I would love to keep this amazing dress, I don't want to just have it sitting in my cupboard, I would much rather another bride get as much joy as I did from it.
