The Dress

This dress is an original Hayley Paige Pepper from her 2017 Blush Spring Collection. This dress will truly make you feel like a fairy tale princess! It is an ivory Marrakesh beaded bridal gown, with a beautiful and very flattering scalloped sweetheart neckline, spaghetti straps, and a gorgeous cascading tulle skirt with a thin horsehair trim.

Alterations

Straps - I had the original straps replaced with new spaghetti straps that were slightly thicker and sturdier and didn't slip off the shoulders the way the original straps did.
Skirt Lining - I had the original skirt lining (fabric underneath the tulle) removed. I wanted the lining to be a similar color of pale blush to match the added ribbon detail around the waist. The new pale blush lining fabric was ordered from Hayley Paige.
Waist Belt Detail - I wanted to add something simple at the waistline to make the transition from the bodice to the skirt a little more distinctive. A piece of pale blush ribbon was added at the bottom of the bodice. It was sewn in and cut to fit the exact size of the waist so that no additional ribbon would be hanging or need to be tied. Beautiful crystal detail was also added to the ribbon belt but only a small area at the back where the dress closed.
Sewn in Bra - push up pads were sewn into the dress to provide lift and support so that no additional bra would need to be worn.
Bustle - A custom bustle was added to make the dress more manageable for the reception. A combination of a french and traditional type bustle was created. Seamstress was excellent and used colored rings to correspond to make the transition into the bustle very easy. All parts necessary to assemble bustle are hidden and assembled bustle looks gorgeous on the dance floor!
Size - Dress was taken in with the finished dimensions as provided above. If you need to increase sizing, only minor adjustments will be able to be made. Decreasing the size would have no problems.
