The Dress

I wore this for my May 2013 wedding, and felt gorgeous in it! A Maggie Sottero dress, her Ericka model in Pearl colour (a warmer version of an ivory colour).

The description includes ...a vertically pleated bustline with a satin band empire accent. Embellished lace motifs ornament the bodice, while Soft Shimmer Satin is pleated and draped throughout the A-line skirt.

It was altered for me - the train and side panels were shortened, making a stunning A-line that was much more manageable, but still had a lovely side-sweeping train for the ceremony. It can also be bustled-up (with a ribbon hidden in the under-skirts) for the reception. I had a matching shoulder wrap made with a pearl button, which will be included with the dress.

The dress is a size 10, but I'm more of a 12, and the dress fit me easily with the lace-up back. I am 163 cm, and wore kitten-heels with the dress. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and looks brand-new.
