The Dress

This beautiful Morilee wedding dress has such a classic, timeless look. The dress has two separate pieces. The bottom layer is a satin slip dress with a zip up back. The intricately detailed upper layer is a soft lace applique with a button up back. The dress has a high bateau neckline, which sits very comfortably on the shoulders for the all important day. The official colour of the dress is 'Diamond White' but I would class it as similar to ivory.

I am very reluctant to sell the dress as love it so much, however, would hate for it to sit in a wardrobe, unworn for years.

Alterations

The dress was purchased as a size 14, however, I am currently a size 12, so had the dress altered to fit. I am 5 foot 7, and wore 3-4 inch heels on the day. Again, I had the length altered to suit. These alterations were made to both layers of the dress. I had two buttons and loops attached to the back of the dress to be able to shorten the train in the evening, however, these have now come off the dress. I am hoping the pictures of me wearing the dress will help with sizing.
