The Dress

This timeless vintage style dress is a beautiful balance between simplicity and subtle complexity. It was worn only once and dry cleaned shortly after. Movable and remarkably comfortable, it was so easy to wear all day while also being very quick and simple to bustle up for dancing. The hand beaded lace with eyelash edging covers a second layer of fine lace over a light blush bodice.
The waist is highlighted with a delicate and flattering faux pearl band.
The back has beaded edging but leaves the centre non beaded with beautiful lace panels creating a V shape. The spaghetti straps hold up the sweat heart shaped neckline.
I’m willing to send through more photos at your request, and also feel comfortable for you to come and try this dress on at my home, as I understand how much more ease can come from seeing and feeling it in person instead of just in photos on a screen. All the best with your happy dress shopping!

Alterations

I have included images of me in it on my special day so you have an idea of the fit. I am 5’3 and wore 6 inch heels. It is a size US 6 with a bust size fitting DD. The waist was altered for smaller fit (flat laying outside measurement of 30cm). Although I am not the tallest, the hem length was not altered and the seamstress instead opted to shorten the straps. They have not been cut and could be potentially unpicked for a better fit.
