The Dress

Pronovias Oreste bridal gown, size 10. Fit & Flare gown with a bateau neckline & the perfect combination of crepe, tulle & lace floral motifs. Finished off with an intricate illusion back & neckline.

I purchased this gown in the fall of 2016 for my June wedding in 2017. I absolutely loved everything about it! The back of this gown was show-stopping with a low back surrounded by delicate lace and a fit and flare shape to accentuate the booty. Three true buttons on the lace lead to a zipper with faux button details. The large train is gorgeous, with a continuation of the delicate lace detail. The higher bateau neckline in the front balances out the low back, but the sheer delicate lace keeps it fun. The lace extends down the sides of torso leading to a clean crepe lower half. The dress was very comfortable to wear; it stayed put for dancing and the fit & flare shape left enough room so that movement wasn't restricted.

This dress was worn and loved once, and was dry cleaned promptly afterwards. The dress is in nearly perfect condition, with the exception of a very slight discoloration on the underside of the bottom liner hem from contacting the ground. This can't be seen when the dress is worn, and a shorter bride could remove it completely by hemming the dress. Also, a couple of the bustle loops are torn, which would be an easy fix. Alterations

Minimal alterations were done to the dress. It was hemmed slightly to accommodate my 5'10" height wearing flats and 11 buttons and loops were added for a french bustle.
