The Dress

This listing is for a Darb Bridal Couture custom made dress, made by Brad Webb (owner of the business and the head designer). It is an ivory silk gown, with a strapless neckline, a low back, structured bodice, Audrey Hepburn inspired silk bow, dropped waist, floor length skirt with full petticoat underneath. The bodice and silk organza skirt have both been hand embroidered with beads that sparkle as the dress moves. This makes the dress appear magical as you walk down the aisle – and many guests will comment on the beautiful, yet subtle sparkle.

This listing includes:
- couture wedding dress;
- full petticoat (maximum puffiness available);
- two veils – one is cathedral length, and the other is shorter. Both can be worn together during the ceremony (shorter one over your head as you enter the church), and then the short one can be flipped backwards over the long veil or completely removed. The long veil was customised with a crystal clip at the top; and
- Darb dress bag, and Leon’s Dry-Cleaning Bag.

It would fit a size 6 or 8 with A cup breasts. I am 165 cm tall. It would suit anyone with a narrow waist who is around those measurements. It is very forgiving in the hip and thigh area.

It has been professionally dry cleaned by Leon’s Dry-Cleaning Service at Woolloongabba, as recommended by Darb Bridal Couture.

It was purchased for $5000, selling for $2000.
