The Dress

If I could wear my wedding dress everyday, I would - I am not that kind of girl. I like to think of myself of a modern, stylish woman, but I also adore classic looks and tradition. This dress hit the perfect balance -- the lines are timeless and elegant (modified sweetheart neckline accentuates all the right places without being too "now"), while the simplicity and fullness of the tiered skirt kept it modern. I felt like a flawless Grace Kelly(albeit brunette), and the dress photographed beautifully from every angle -- and what's more, it is comfortable!

The boning and tailoring of the dress hugs a body in just the right places to make sure I did not have to be yanking it up all night, even with lots of schmoozing with guests and dancing.

Alterations

Taken in in the waist and bust. I am not very busty (B cup), so it was tailored a bit in the chest. It also has some removable inserts in the bosom to round things out. I am 5'8 and wore 2.5 inch heels.
