The Dress

Words cannot describe how utterly flawless and beautiful this dress is. It was a dream to wear on my wedding day. I felt elegant and timeless yet sexy and contemporary. Best of all, it was so comfortable to wear and evolved as our day did.

I'm choosing to sell this stunning piece because I know how tricky it was for me to find something like this in my size, so for the lucky girl who is also my shape and appreciates the same style, I hope this dress rocks your world.

SUPPORT:
Structurally, many V-neck dresses both front and back lack stability and often fall off womens' shoulders...not this dress. Over the bust it has an invisible skin-coloured mesh and a silicone strip under the shoulder straps to ensure they don't go anywhere.

The dress also has bra cups sewed in, to give women like myself with a smaller bust, a more feminine look.

THE DRESS:
It's such a show stopper! Beaded all over, this dress is surprisingly lightweight for the volume of beading. During the day and at night they reflect such beautiful light and give the dress a whole other dimension. The beading comprises of both clear crystals, pearls and silver beads to give an almost water-like effect.

The pattern is contemporary and timeless. It's not the style of lace you'll see on a bride next month or even next year (we all know the ones)...I like to think the beading tells a story. It's intense and impactful around the bust, it softens around the waist and waves its way down to a dramatic hemline. I still look at it in awe.

THE OVERSKIRT:
The overskirt is made from a unique material that gives the train structure and volume without additional weight. This is so important because it meant I could effortlessly move throughout the day without feeling like I was carrying 10kg around my waist. The sheer fabric, overlaid with hand beading gives a very contemporary look – something that's hard to find in overskirts which are often filled with tulle or a solid fabric.

The skirt can be effortlessly removed and forms part of a beaded belt to seamlessly match the beaded dress.
