The Dress

Stunning Ivory embroidered art deco vintage wedding dress, featuring a curved sweet heart neckline with silk organza detailing, crystsl motif at empire bodice with a silk organza ruffle tiered A-Line skirt, sweep train. Described as the 'the chandelier dress' this is channels Louise Love and Gatsby all in one. It is stunning to wear and be seen in.

As described on the official JLM Couture webpage, www.jlmcouture.com this Lazaro dress, style; Chandelier 3059 is an "ivory embroidered net, Art Deco bridal dress, curved neckline, crystal motif at empire bodice, silk organza ruffle tiered A-line skirt, sweep train."

Please also note that all the crystals are Swarovski crystals. The dress was worn once and is in excellent condition. It was professionally cleaned at the highest level offered by a notable specialist drycleaners in Sydney. It has been professionally boxed in acid free paper and comes with care instructions.

The dress could be described as Art Deco or Art Nouveau due to the ornate detailing encompassing a botanical, chandelier theme. It moves easily for dancing, allowing for free movement and I used the loop underneath to lift the 'sweep train' onto my wrist when dancing which looked really elegant and effective in showcasing the ruffles on the train.

Alterations

The ruffle effect was added to the neckline as it softened the strapless look. The dress originally altered for someone who is 172cm in heels. It was altered by taking up the hem (not cutting) to my height in heels (168cm; I'm 161cm). The bust of the dress has cups added for a better fit.
I also added a lace up option for the train at the back of the dress to be lifted for better mobility while dancing. This can be removed.
