The Dress

This is a Silvia gown from the Midgley and Sottero line by Maggie Sottero. This gown has been worn once by me on April 2019 for a daytime ceremony and reception. It was bought new from Abbey Bridal on Oct'2018. The label size is AU6 and I had it altered professionally at the hem, added bra cups, and added bustle. It has been cleaned and ready for a purchaser and comes with a Maggie Sottero certificate.

I am a size AU6 in Review and Portman and AU6/8 in Forever New), 161cm tall but I wore an 7cm high platform heel that day.

This is a very well made dress with built-in boneing, and great support for the bust. Sheer neckline and back, All buttons individually attached. No invisible Zip. I particularly like the sheer back and lace on the sides which you can see from some of the photos. The appliques were also very beautiful when the sun shines through them against the sheer lace.

The material is of very high in quality. The dress is made of 4 layers. The below is the order of the layers starting from the internal layer.

- Plain Satin
- Plain Organza
- Plain Tulle
- Lace on Tulle (large applique)

My seamstress loved the dress and confirmed that it was very well made (credit to the Maggie Sottero brand).

Elegant and understated, this chic fit and flare wedding dress is accented with bold floral lace appliques adorning the bodice and edging a deep V illusion neckline. Finished with a plunging, illusion back and covered buttons over zipper closure.
