About the Dress

The Story
This custom made gown was created for one of Australia's leading bridal stylist's who understands the importance of dressing for your shape and looking your finest, especially on your wedding day!

The gown is the creation of two bridal gowns she loved elements of [Monique Lhuillier’s Austen Gown and Vera Wang’s Petra Gown]. She had these elements combined and re-thought of and commissioned celebrity bridal designer Velani to create it.

The bride's style is minimal, classic, chic. Whilst the dress was always going to be grand in itself, she went with minimal detail of gathers rather than embellishments of lace, sequins or crystals to ensure that she is wearing the dress, not the other way around [the dress wearing her]. This simplistic approach gave her look a modern, regal feel that flattered her shape, personality and style of the wedding perfectly.

This gown is perfectly suited to a bride who wishes to show her shape elegantly whilst pulling in at all the right places. It is an extremely comfortable dress considering and has been dry cleaned by Sydney's best bridal dry cleaners.

It is made from 100% pure silk faille which makes it not only light weight but breathable and soft to wear. The gown has structure whilst allows perfect movement for dancing and moving freely.

It can fit brides from Australian size 6-8 comfortably. It features a bustle so you can hook it up at the back for dancing and walking without the train dragging.
