About the Dress

Gorgeous Vera Wang Hayley dress for sale! I purchased the dress back in 2015 from the Vera Wang flagship store on Rodeo Drive (I have the paperwork.) I fell in love with this dress the second I tried it on! It was the first and last dress I put on.
I immediately loved the asymmetrical silk petaling. It drapes across the front and extends down the back, creating a show stopping train. I opted for a partially exposed bodice. I felt the dress was already very delicate and feminine so I wanted a slightly edgy front. It's a true ivory. The dress features a side zip as well.
I felt like an absolute queen in this dress. I hope it can bring someone as much happiness as it brought me!

The very last layer of tulle has some discoloration on the bottom edges. This is from me walking outside for photos. There is also a very tiny tear from where I tripped in my heels. None of this is seen unless you lift up every layer to get to the bottom. And if the dress was altered for a shorter height, the flaws would be cut off.
I did not have the dress cleaned, only because I wore it for literally 3 hours. It was worn for photos and our ceremony, then I changed into my reception dress. It's been kept inside it's original Vera Wang bag, inside a dry cleaning bag inside a cedar closet.
I'm 5'8" and I had the dress altered to accommodate 3 inch heels.
I'm a 34B and had padded inserts sewn in so I wouldn't have to worry about a bra. These can easily be cut out to fit a larger bust.
In regards to hips, for reference I wear a size 26 in jeans.
