About the Dress

This dress is truly stunning. I have searched for this dress on second hand wedding dress sites, and it is hard to get one. As they are an expensive dress when bought new, not many people have bought them. This is a truly show stopping gown in a real MGM movie style. The striking detail at the back of this dress involves an oversized bow and tails which flow from the floral detail to create the exquisite chapel train. The bodice is pleated to a point at the waist with a draped straight neckline and halter-neck strap. The silk garza skirt has a whipped effect around the hips and flows into a soft and gentle A-line skirt.The flowers at the back of the dress are detachable via a brooch-like pin, and can be organised in any style you want on the back of the dress. The item has been professionally hand dry cleaned, and will be sent off for boxing up professionally once sold. I have mentioned in defects that there is a VERY slight dis-colouring on the underside of the train, but nothing of great notice. There is also one stitch that has come loose on the bow detail after it has been cleaned. Please see images for further detail. This would take a seamstress two minutes to fix, if that! My chest size is 36C, and my height is 5ft6in. I believe this would fit a size 10/12 body. If you require any further measurements then please let me know. The images you can see are from my wedding day, and it has been a very hard decision to sell this dress. I feel that it is too beautiful to be boxed away in a loft. Someone else should you be able to feel as amazing as I did. Bought for ƒš£6,000 in January last year, this is a bargain buy.
