The Dress

I am selling my Madi Lane dress called Provence. I was married in August 2024 and it was the most wonderful dress. I felt like an absolute goddess! The stand out features of this dress is the sleeves which have a shimmering gold tulle that is sheer and reflects the sun perfectly. I had my sleeves altered so they aren’t as puffy and are more fitted. The sleeves have lace cuffs. The sleeves can easily be removed if getting the dress altered. I am a size 10/12 but this dress has been altered and is a size 10. My bust is 12DD and there is plenty of space to get this area altered if you have a smaller bust. The dress itself features embroidered lace and a row of buttons on the back. In the photos I have included, two are from the actual Madi lane site so you can see what it looks like without the sleeves. My dress though is white and not the nude colour in those pictures. I wore this dress to the ceremony and then for dinner just a small group of us as we didn’t have a reception so no dancing in this dress! I have also had it professionally dry cleaned as well straight after the wedding and it has come up beautifully.
I really hope someone wants to buy this dress so it can bring more joy as it simply divine. I bought this dress for $2750 from Luv Bridal in Perth and had alterations that were $1100. I am selling only for $1300 including postage as I live quite remote and I would rather someone else get wear out of it on their special day then it sit in the wardrobe.

Alterations

I wore pink kitten heels with a 3.5inch heel so had the dress slightly shortened. I am 5.5 in height and the dress still showed a tiny smidge of the pink to give you an idea of length. There is no Bussel added and I just gathered the dress over my arm whilst I walked. The shoulder sleeves have been altered so they aren’t as puffy as the original picture and are more fitted. These have been sewn on but can easily be taken off or adjusted to suit your own shoulder when getting it altered. The hips part has been slightly taken in so it’s more fitted and includes shape.
