The Dress

I was convinced to buy a size 6, but had it significantly taken in. I would say this is probably more in the size 2 range! Great feature is that it has a synching bra hook in the back to help tighten/loosen as needed day of. I had mine fairly tight for the first dance and then loosened it, which was so nice!

The dress has a large and luxurious trail, which is part of the allure. As you can see from some of the pictures, it has a bustle option in the back AS WELL AS a hidden loop underneath the skirt for an easy wrap around your wrist. I wore it that way during the cocktail hour, full length for the ceremony, and bustled for the reception. It felt like having 3 dresses!

The back bustle withstood significant movement during our first dance, including a full dirty dancing lift and many swings around the room.

The soft sweetheart neckline and low back make for a timeless look, while the flower detail at the bottom makes this a stand out dress. Best of both worlds - classic AND differentiated.

Alterations

As said above, I was told to buy a 6 so this was taken in a good bit. It is closer to a size 2! I also had my alterations lady add the bustle for the back, as the wrist loop was the only built in feature which would NOT suffice for our first dance. Rhinestones down the back replaced with simple white buttons to match the dress color - the buttons do not actually function, the dress zips up so it's SUPER easy to get on and off. No bathroom catastrophes or meltdowns on your wedding day.
