The Dress

Two looks in one!! Beautiful dress that suited me for both my wedding service (with overskirt on) and evening reception later that night (without veil and overskirt).

Overskirt has been reinforced with hook &eyes to avoid getting caught and coming off too easily, originally it only fastened with popper buttons

Professional dry cleaned the next day with a few minor skuffs underneath, not visible when worn. Just collected from dry cleaner today, as pictured.

Behind the zip at the back of the dress, there is a lace up section inside the dress, to do tighter for a larger bust effect - like a corset.
Unfortunately, on the day I discovered I had misplaced the laces so I used shoelace to do it up - this worked perfectly as it’s an internal feature and not visible once zipped!
Therefore a missing element is the inside lacing up string.

Alterations

Reinforced overskirt attachments with hook and eye.

Slight adjustments to fit hip measurements mentioned above.
Slightly taken up to fit height measurements mentioned above.

All completed by a professional wedding seamstress.
