The Dress

Stephanie Allin Couture Dress - Liberty

Brand new, worn once in 2022.

The dress has a boned bodice with structured bust which buttons up a the back with satin buttons. This connects to the skirt of the dress which has three layers, 2 silk under layers and a chiffon top layer creating a light, flowy dress that just hugs the top of the waist. There is an invisible zip up at the back. It has a floor length front elongating into a medium train at the back. It was really comfortable to wear and move around in whilst feeling secure.

The dress has been altered slightly (see details below). It has been dry cleaned and repaired, however there are still some minor marks (see photos) One on the back bodice by the buttons and one on the front. These actually occurred before my wedding and found them barely noticeable on the day. I was assured these would come out with another dry cleaning session. There was a slight tear at the bottom of the dress which has been repaired fully.

Alterations

The dress has been shortened from the original length to accomodate my height (5ft 3) but is still floor length at the front with a floor length train. The straps were also shortened slightly to fit my shoulders but these can be let down again if required. I had cups added to the bodice to fill it out, these have been removed.
