The Dress

The Harmony dress by Willowby by Waters is an amazing sexy and romantic gown with a beautiful train. It has a great bodice that really cinched my waist and created beautiful cleavage. The skirt has the perfect amount of volume to create a dramatic silhouette (and for a beautiful twist whilst dancing). My absolute favourite thing about the dress is the bold floral lace. It paired amazingly with the peony in my bouquet. I wore it in May 2024 for my wedding and it will be dry cleaned before I send it out. Please note my measurements. It fit me like a very form fitting glove so if you're close to my measurements or slightly smaller at the waist and bust it'll be perfect! The bottom is not fitted so you can be any size down there! Note: I am a UK 16/18.

Alterations

Dress has been brought in from a size UK 18 to a size UK 16 (please check my measurements as it fit me like a glove - though if you're slightly smaller it will work very well because it was very tight on me to cinch that waist - and oh my did it!)
A bustle was put in to allow for the train to be pulled up when walking.
I had beautiful soft sleeves made for the gown. They are detachable. I wore them because I'm slightly self conscious of my arms.
I had lining added to the bodice because it was a little too sheer.
I had the "horsehair" layer of the dress removed to reduce the volume just a bit. What you will buy is exactly what you see in my pictures but it will be slightly less puffy at the bottom based on designer pictures. I still have that entire layer and will send it with the dress in case you choose to use it - please contact your seamstress first to make sure she can use it if you do in fact want to).
Dress has not been shortened. Nothing was done to the bodice other than adding lining.
