The Dress

The Hollie dress by Jimme Huang is absolutely stunning. It is flattering, timeless, elegant, and even a touch sexy (but in the most tasteful way). It is simple, but with delicate details that set it apart, like the rhinestone pearl beads along the back and train, the beautiful low back that adds a touch of sexy, the square neckline that flatters the collarbones, and the nude mesh fabric on the sides give a slimming and flattering detail to the figure. However, one of my favorite aspects of this dress is the material. It has a slight stretch, but it also hugs the bodice in a form-fitting, flattering way, while also providing comfort and room to move and dance.

The dress is a size 8. The color is a light ivory, not stark white. It is a sample that has not been altered, so there is quite a bit of room for alterations to make it perfect for you, even for measurements slightly larger and much taller than my own as I picked one with plenty of room for alterations. I am typically a street size 2 /4, but since this dress is unaltered, it is a little larger than my typical size. Which is perfect to have wiggle room for alterations.

I love the dress, but sadly did not end up wearing it as my wedding plans changed and so I ended up going with a different dress that was more appropriate for the updated wedding plans. It is too beautiful to sit in storage and not have the opportunity to help a bride shine on her special day.
