The Dress

I absolutely fell in love with this dress the moment I wore it in the bridal shop. The décolletage was exactly what I was looking for. Sweetheart neckline with a small V cut for the extra "oomph". The off the shoulder straps are 100% functional. It has elastic bands which are hidden and attached to the back of the dress so that you can move your arms freely and dance the night away. The lace on this dress are leaves starting at the top of the dress and trickling away at the bottom. I felt like a true princess on my wedding day and I hope you do too. This dress definitely deserves another day in the spotlight. The only flaw I would say about this dress is that the breast area is quite large. I have A/B cup breasts so I had to use inserts to fill in the gap. The dress was dry cleaned, no cuts or damages, and will come in the preservation box .

Alterations

I got three alterations done. First was to cut the length to match my height. I am 5'2" but wore 3 inch heels so the dress should sit around 5'5". The second alteration was to adjust the width of the off the shoulder straps to the width of my arms. This can be easily adjusted to your arms width so that it is snug around the arms. Again the elastic band will give you lots of freedom to move your arms even though the straps should be snug without stretch. The third alteration was getting the bustle. Since the skirt is quite long and has six layers, my seamstress used two layer technique. The first three layers have five bustles that go to five buttons on top. Then the bottom three layers also have five bustles that go to the five buttons on the third layer of the skirt. Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions about the alterations!
