The Dress

Purchased at the Galia Lahav Flagship store in Los Angeles.

Dress description:
A sheer mermaid dress made entirely of sparkly beaded fishnet with intimate beaded fringe details and hand embroidered floral accents. This sensual dress offers a plunging v neckline, drop low back and detachable sleeves.

The dress was made to order and I made the following two modifications:
(1) the legs are rather sheer, so I added one extra layer of Ivory Chanel as the inner-most Lining from the
Waist to the Hem. This can be seen in the second to last photo — there is an extra layer of the white/ivory material
(2) I added a little more Illusion Mesh on the back, which kept the shoulders/sleeves from falling during pictures, dancing, etc. the opening at the Bra Line sits at 17cm's in width. The back of the dress can be seen in photos 5 and 6.

The dress is absolutely gorgeous — a work of art. I love it and felt so beautiful on my wedding day and hope this dress gives another bride that same feeling!

The dress was approximately $14,000 plus $1,800 for alterations. It was worn once and then I paid $715 to have it professionally cleaned by Elegance Preserved.
