A glamorous maximalist looking for a show-stopping wedding gown, look no further than Style 1338. This timeless fit-and-flare silhouette is anything but simple. A plunging V-neckline and lace-covered off-the-shoulder straps pair with a corset-inspired back for unmatched bodice structure. Cutouts along the side of the waist and in the back are boldly sexy, showing off the intricate details of the lace pattern. The lace is spectacular, with encrusted beading and stacked layers of floral embellishments decorating every inch of the gown. The full-length train features continued ornate lace details, with an organic edge at the hem. Quite simply, it’s breathtaking.

This gown has been worn once in August 2022. It has been professionally cleaned by well-respected company Terrington Burchett and has no damage or visible wear. It comes boxed in acid free tissue paper, with a white wooden hanger.

I found the gown to be very comfortable all day as it has a nice amount of stretch in the fabric. It fastens with a zip at the back, which is covered by ivory buttons. I wore the gown without a bra or any support wear underneath and I found it to be very supportive and flattering.

Alterations

The dress was taken in slightly at the waist and the straps were altered slightly (brought inwards) in order to provide more support.
