The Dress

Allure Romance Classic Bridal Mermaid Gown. I purchased the Almond color which you can see in my wedding photos/personal photos and video. The dress is also pictured from their site in the Almond color to show you how the dress looks via website. Beautiful comfortable gown with a corset like bonding in the inside. I created a bow to attach to the back with the extra fabric we had from alterations (shortened the dress so I could dance). We also removed the straps (per website pics). I got the dress dry cleaned immediately after my wedding and it is in pristine condition. The dry cleaning label is still attached to the bag. The dress is so light but so well made. Extremely flattering, it gave me more curves and hips than I have! You can remove the bow if you would like or reposition it! It currently lays on one side but the day of my wedding I decided I wanted it straight up so we pinned it with a safety pin.

Alterations

Removed the draped off the shoulder straps. We added a bow in the back that lays on one side but you can make it sit up straight or remove it! We also shortened the dress. I am 5'2 and was able to wear my dress with 3 1/2 inch heels and sneakers and it looked great! We also brought it in at the waist a little and top of the neckline/breast area for a seamless look.
