The Dress

I felt beautiful on my wedding day in this Martina Liana dress. It really went well with the elegant feel I was going for while
still remaining fun and sparkly. Plus I loved that it hugged my curves while still staying classic. I only wore it for the day and after being dry cleaned, you can barely see that it was worn.

Alterations

My dress was ordered in a bigger size (12) even though I am a street size 8 since I have a broader athletic frame. My hips and butt are more shapely and in order to get a snug fit there, I needed to size up. I think I should’ve sized to a 10 rather than 12 since it needed a lot of alterations everywhere rather than just the waist and bust if I had a size 10. Also, I don’t have a big bust (36 C) so a lot of padding was added there and if you remove the padding or some of it, there is plenty of room for a bigger bust. I did not hem this dress since I am 5’10. The main thing I would note is that this dress was altered to a size 8 or 10 so don’t expect the label size which is a 12.
