The Dress

Customized Galia Lahav G-103 gown. My beautiful wedding gown was custom made for me during production by Galia Lahav’s team. We added lining so the dress wasn’t sheer, lowered the back by a few inches and added boning/ lace in the back as well to add more detail as the original back was more plain.

It cinches in your waist incredibly and is fairly light and comfortable to wear given the style of the dress. I had so many compliments on it. It photographs so beautifully. The hand beading and lace appliqué is incredible and so detailed.

While it is hard to part with my dress, I hope someone else can wear it and feel just as beautiful as I did for their wedding day. It’s a great opportunity to get an almost brand new couture dress for a fraction of the original price. It is in great condition and has been professionally cleaned. There are no visible imperfections. Some of the tulle layers underneath have small tears at the bottom from the ground but are not visible when wearing it. The outer layer of lace and beading is in perfect condition.

Waist: 29”
Bust: 37”
Hips: not applicable with this silhouette

Alterations

The only alterations I had done were hemming and adding a bustle. I am 5’4 and wore 3.5 inch heels. It was still slightly long so I think anyone up to 5’8 including shoes could wear this. It could also be taken in fairly easily as needed.
