The Dress

This beautiful lace and chiffon, Jenny Packham gown is from her S/S RTW collection, and is heavily embellished - the colour and detailing made me fall in love so much that I bought it for my wedding day (2 years later!). It’s a size 10. However, there was only a size 16 in store, so it was fitted to a 10. The seamstress ensured that no fabric was cut, so it can be taken out to any size up to a 16. I can send through images of the seams containing the extra fabric - you can barely notice them as the seamstress did an incredible job.

It’s only been worn once, for a few hours, so it’s in excellent condition. It pains me to sell, but it’s been wrapped and stored since my wedding day, and after a new baby, I could really use the extra income - it would also be a shame if it were never worn again.

It’s a really special dress - Jenny Packham actually chose it for her 25th anniversary show at the V&A. It would make a beautiful, unique wedding or occasion dress. The RRP was just short of £4k, because of the incredible hand sewn detailing and volume of fabric in the skirt. Therefore, I feel the price is fair. ~I will also dry clean the dress before postage/collection~ You’re more than welcome to arrange to try it on, or come and see it once sold, there’ll be no refunds.
