The Dress

This Disney Belle wedding dress was a dream come true. It made me feel like a princess on my wedding day. I had such a hard time picking out a dress. I’ve been to so many boutiques and nothing felt right. I finally knew I found the one when I saw this Allure Bridals Disney Belle gown. Beauty and the Beast is very sentimental to my husband and I and it was absolutely perfect. It was meant to be.

This satin ball gown is both timeless and romantic. The front is an elegant off the shoulder style with lace sleeves. Lace Alecon appliqués are detailed tastefully on the sides and thought the entire gown. The ballgown skirt is a buttery satin material that gives it a silk feel.
The back is a lace up corset that cascades into the most beautiful train you will ever find on a dress. It’s a stunning cathedral length train with beautiful lace detailing.

Alterations

I bought this dress in a size 10. I’m originally between a 6 and an 8, but I wasn’t able to get the dress in time. My seamstress made it fit perfectly. I’m 5’1 and wore 2.5 in heels, so the dress was hemmed with shoes worn. It also already has a bustle for the train. It been cleaned and is in great condition.

Dress originally dropped at the hips but there was so much material and had to add a seam across the waist. Most ballgowns have this and it actually makes it look a lot better and feel much lighter.
