The Dress

This is the gorgeous "Emmie" dress made by the amazing team at Pallas Couture in 2015. It is a glamorous and striking dress but at the same time sophisticated, elegant and feminine.

The French lace is delicate and handcrafted, and attached to two ivory silk panels at the front and back. The boning in the bodice is amazingly fine, and makes the dress hug you like a second skin. The dress hugs your hips and starts to flare around the knees with a slight fishtail which is just so elegant. The dress can be bustled up at the back for when the dancing and frivolity begins :)

After having the dress professionally dry-cleaned (at Blue & White Dry Cleaners in Neutral Bay), I toyed with the idea of keeping it, but now feel it would be a shame for such a beautiful dress to go to waste. It feels right that this dress should make another woman feel like a goddess on her wedding day!
