The Dress

WOW. I have never seen or heard any bride receive more compliments on a dress than I did when I wore this gown on my wedding day in July 2019. This is a 2018 Fall Monique Lhullier gown called the Sofia gown, which can be found online at https://www.theknot.com/fashion/sofia-monique-lhuillier-wedding-dress with more details.

Worn only once for the ceremony and part of the reception (I changed midway through reception to a second look). I expected to purchase a mermaid gown, but this made me feel sexy, while still feeling like a true bride.

Happy to include the Monique Lhullier veil as well, which goes retail for $1200.

I hope the next bride is as happy with this as I was!!

* I am happy to dry clean for anyone interested, but only stains include standard darker floor marks at very bottom/partially underneath the dress.

Alterations

Dress: The dress has had padding added to the bust, as well as a bustle in the back by Monique Lhullier's #1 recommended tailor in LA and is extremely surprisingly comfortable. The dress fits well and had the same Monique Lhullier fabric added to bring out the waist half an inch, but can be easily taken back in if need be.

Veil: Small tiny clear rhine stones were added to the back part of the veil. Very minor detail noticeable only really when the sun/light hits the veil.
